Shannon's Sparkles and Sunshine: WARNING: BRAGGING POST ALERT!!

Daily Devotional is something that I am finding I have to make time for. It allows me to feel closer to my spirituality. A few free moments with God is always a wonderful thing. I rely on Christ to take care of my family when they are not with me, I rely on him to help me through the hard times my life encounters, and I depend on him to lead me down the path I was meant to lead, so I feel like a daily devotional is the least I can do to become a better Christian. Faith allows me to get through some pretty challenging days. It also encourages me to improve myself and strive to make a positive impact on those around me. If you don’t have a spiritual life, consider it. Prayer, meditation, removing your thoughts from yourself and helping others can greatly improve who you are.

WARNING: BRAGGING POST ALERT!!

This man is one of the most loving, gentle and encouraging men I have ever known. Our family has been on an emotional roller coaster these past few years, and he has been remarkably supportive through it all. He teaches my children about hardwork and how important a mans character is. I am so blessed to call him my husband and best friend. My children are blessed to call him Dad!
